about me
I have always been on a relentless quest for adventure.
Whether scaling rugged mountains, chasing a football across a grassy field, or feeling the wind on my face while skating in Nairobi’s skating zones, the thrill of physical challenges has always been irresistible. Consequently, I climbed Mount Kenya (5,188 metres) when I was 10. By the time I was 12 years old, I had climbed this mountain five times. Three climbs were an eight-hour DASH to Lenana peak (4,985 metres).
I come from a family of nature lovers who spend many hours hiking, climbing, and learning about the environment. Hence, I have a supportive system for the challenging prep hikes and athletics training required for my active lifestyle.

I'm a hiking enthusiast
My dream climb is Mount Everest. In the meantime, the thrill of conquering towering peaks in Kenya and witnessing breathtaking vistas fuels my spirit. I’ve summited the most challenging peaks in Kenya, including Le Satima, Elephant Hill, and Rurumeria.
Whether it’s a day hike to a local trail like Ngong Hills or an extended trek through the Aberdare Ranges, I treasure the chance to explore new landscapes and appreciate the beauty of my country.

about me
I’m an athletics junkie
My journey isn’t limited to the serene trails alone. As an aspiring professional athlete who looks up to Eliud Kipchoge, I also participate in marathons and races in Nairobi. So far, I have 17 participation medals, with a personal best of 48 minutes for 10 kilometres and 18 minutes for 5 kilometres.
The discipline and dedication required in athletics have taught me valuable life skills that extend beyond the playing field. To build my stamina and athletic skills, I train six days weekly. I run 3.6 km on Monday, 7.2km on Friday, 10km on Saturday, and go to the gym from Tuesday to Thursday.
Fortunately, I attend a day secondary school, so I have time for my athletics training, among other sports

about me
I love giving back to my community.
I hope to inspire young people to connect with nature and discover the wonders hidden in parks and mountains. By sharing my hiking stories and experiences, I reach many classmates and young people. Additionally, I use my outdoor adventures to change my community.
For instance, I climbed Mount Kenya to raise funds for a school bus so my classmates at Lang’ata West Primary School could avoid the cold morning weather in Nairobi. Although I did not raise enough funds for the bus before I left primary school, my story inspired many. I’ll accomplish it as an alumnus.
My family and I spend more time outdoors than indoors during school breaks. Here are some of the ways I spend my holidays.
Playing Football
You may find me on a football field when I’m not marveling at mountain vistas. The camaraderie with my teammates, the thrill of scoring a goal, and the sweet taste of victory make every game an adrenaline rush. It’s a sport that teaches me skills like teamwork, strategy, and discipline that are beneficial even in my school work.
Skating
I feel a rush of freedom and creativity when skating. The smooth glide, the sound of wheels on pavement, and the feeling of balance give me a unique sense of control. Skating allows me to challenge myself, learn new tricks, and continually push my limits. Additionally, it’s a way to connect with friends who share the same passion and explore the urban landscape in an entirely different way.
Exploring Hills & Mountains
One of my greatest passions is mountain climbing. There’s something incredibly exhilarating about scaling the heights of majestic peaks like Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro.
In addition to mountain climbing, I have a deep love for hiking, enjoying the incredibly liberating day treks through forests and scenic trails. I have done over 35 hikes, including difficult-level hikes like Elephant Hill and Rurumeria. These hikes gave me wilderness skills, including navigation and first aid.
